We Encourage Autonomous, Multifaceted Learning.
How does a NetWings Program work?
1Selection
Students apply on our website via our online application link. If selected to move further in the process, applicants will proceed to Skype interviews with our global young professionals
2Crowdfunding
Once selected, students are given the option to set up a NetWings led Crowdfunding Campaign to cover the costs for the trip (In addition to scholarships received based on merit and need)
3Mentorship and Workforce Development
Before traveling abroad, we partner students with international mentors to initiate dialogue about country they will visit. In addition, students will participate in virtual workforce development workshops during this time; working with seasoned professionals in various fields.
4Fieldwork
Delegates participate in NetWings Fieldwork activities which include various site visits, research collection opportunities, and discussions with business, political, and service sector leaders
5Conference/Event Attendance
Delegates participate in an international conference (alongside global peers) and attend various conference sessions. In addition, Delegates present their Case Study Thesis during the conference
6Publish Case Studies
Upon returning from their international travels, students publish a collaborative Case Study. This is accomplished by working virtually with their geographically diverse teams to complete their Case Study
Itinerary.

How Do Our Programs Help Upskill Students?
Cognitive Empathy
Connecting with Others
Connecting with individuals through Storytelling provides students the opportunity to understand the perspective of their peers around the world and relate to topics more personally.
1:1 Skills Refinement
Workforce Readiness
Students form part of Delegations that are focused on specific skills development for various industries. We work with industry leaders to ensure students are obtaining marketable skills.
Networking
Making connections
Attending a global conference of over 300+ participants including students, young professionals, and C-Suite professionals is an incredible way for students to develop global networks.
Data Synthesis
Understanding information
In developing their case studies, Delegates learn how to collect, analyze, and present data in ways that
appeal to diverse audiences. This is critical in helping students to not only obtain but understand data.
Global Teaming
Working Well With Others
Working with peers that speak other languages, study various topics, and have varying opinions all while tasked to build a case study with a shared perspective is a great global teaming foundation.
